The booking agent is mainly responsible for managing customer bookings via the various systems used (mail, live chat, telephone), processing customer requests, and being in constant communication with them.

• Managing bookings by villa product, experience product and services offered.
• Communication with owners and suppliers to ensure availability and confirmations.
• Support in the creation of customized packages in response to customer needs.
• Supporting travel agencies/tour operators in managing B2B bookings.
• Collaboration with the team to ensure a hassle-free experience for customers during their journey.
• Use of reservation systems (CRM, Back-end, Kalisi, iCAL, etc.) and booking to monitor and update information.
• Support in bookings for villa products of companies acquired by Emma Villas.
• Proactive management of potential customer acquisition.
• Participation in events and trade fairs.

Requirements and skills

Knowledge of English or several foreign languages is a prerequisite for working as a booking agent, for interfacing with foreign persons and organisations. In addition, it is important to possess excellent commercial skills and to know the market in which the company operates.

The resource inserted will mainly be responsible for

• Property Management: Oversee and coordinate all activities related to the management of luxury properties, including maintenance, cleaning and rental management.
• Coordination of Personnel and External Suppliers: Coordinate on-site personnel and external suppliers involved in reception, housekeeping, garden and pool care, to ensure that properties are maintained in excellent condition and are presented according to luxury standards.
• Monitoring and Analysis: Constantly monitor customer reviews and quality standards required by customers and develop analysis/reports, identify interventions and room for performance improvement.
• Scheduling: Identify and schedule operational steps, through coordination with the quality team.
• Personnel and Supplier Selection: Select reception managers, on-site personnel and external companies/suppliers for property management.

• Knowledge of the vacation rental industry and/or the villa real estate market.
• Strong business aptitude for stipulating/renewing agreements.
• Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.

• Dynamism and willingness to travel and/or relocate.

• Propensity for business development, in particular B2B, and for managing relations with travel agencies and operators specialising in tourism experiences;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
